About Solanthea

Solanthea is the home of Sol-Led Learning™ — a curriculum framework designed for autistic learners and the educators, families, and leaders who serve them. It originated at Solterra Schools, where Brittney Schuessler developed it in classrooms serving neurodivergent students with complex support needs.

The framework is grounded in two ideas that don't always travel together: regulation before rigor, and access by design. Learning depends on readiness — students need predictable environments, sensory support, and co-regulation to access instruction at all. But readiness alone isn't the goal. Sol-Led Learning preserves high expectations for every learner, building multiple pathways to the same standard rather than reducing what we ask of students.

Through Solanthea, that framework — the curriculum, the staff training, and the leadership development built around it — is now available to schools, governments, and homeschoolers worldwide.
